They have a decent collection of dancing clothing,shoes and accessories. Also have some costumes for Halloween, Christmas, etc. and all kinds of fancy hats. The staff is very helpful. It's worth a visit if you need anything for ballet or a costume party.

When I conduct business, I look for integrity, trustworthiness, excellence in product and service, and caring. Theatrix ticked all the boxes.I am a professional Santa and Grinch. I ordered two new custom built Santa outfits at Theatrix. They were upfront with me about the estimated time of delivery, which fortunately met my desired deadline. They sent pics of different fabric samples they found at suppliers. I went in person to Theatrix to make my final fabric selection. They subsequently did an initial fitting of the shell of the costumes, then another fitting and then final adjustments and detailed parts. When doing final adjustments and detailed parts, two seamstresses worked for over 6 hours, well into the evening, to complete the job so I could return that evening to Toronto with my two new outfits. The friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff was inspirational. I felt like I could trust them at all times. And, the final products have received rave reviews from my annual clients to whom I sent pics, and from family and friends across the country. Thank you everyone for your team effort and diligence. It is only July and you are already on Santa's nice list.

When our school decided to perform 'Sense and Sensibility', we knew one of the most crucial elements to the success of the production would be the costumes. Having worked with them before on 'A Christmas Carol' in 2018, I immediately thought to call Theatrix Costume House.What an amazing experience it is working with Gina and Theatrix to get the costumes ready for our theatrical productions! Not only was Gina a pleasure to work with, her and her team are exceptionally thorough. Aside from cast measurements, we had very specific criteria for this show; from the time period, to the colour palette, to a list of required accessories. Gina and her design team found (and created!) beautiful costumes for our entire cast.We were very fortunate to be able to perform our show before the rise of Omicron, and even though the cast was masked, the costumes transported everyone in the audience back in time to a place of escape. That's what theatre is all about and Theatrix helped make that a reality. The costumes were certainly the other stars of the show!

My girls had an amazing experience being fitted for their pointe shoes. They were very accommodating with appointment times and were considerate of the fact we were driving from out of town. Russell was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Lisa was very thorough with explaining how a pointe shoe should feel on your foot as well as discussing the mechanics of it. This is important for first time pointe dancers. She took her time and was very friendly. It is also fun for first timers to be able to get a photo holding a cute “My first pointe shoes” sign. They have a large selection and the best prices.

As someone who works remotely full time, my wife deserved a robust and reliable network inside our house. We had one that we installed ourselves, but it was flaky, and created too much stress.After I got in touch with Zeb at Downeast, I had Shawn and Tanner at my house to install a new network 48 hours later. Shawn and Tanner were professional, informative and efficient. After consulting with me about how I wanted the network to operate and giving me some recommendations, their installation of new equipment (router, switch, two access points, and several wall jacks) was clean and hassle-free, while also leaving me options to expand the network later. Once the new network was up and running Shawn even showed me how to admin the network myself, and how to put in a help desk ticket with Downeast if I ran into trouble.Our internet has been rock solid since, with zero issues. And the peace of mind we have is priceless. 10/10, would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants serious and professional work done.
